DVAS has supported over 350 survivors of atrocities, violence against women, violence of child rights, through fact finding and legal aid helping them to seek justice and compensation.

Has successfully ensured enrollment and retention of 3854 dropout children in Primary and secondary levels cross eight districts of Bihar in last 5years.

Organized campaign on effective implementation of section 12 A( 1C- 25% reservation of free and compulsory education to children of marginalized communities ) and ensured enrollment of 325 children from economically backward section of society.

Successfully contributed to national literacy mission with contribution of making 12000 rural women literate as per norms.

500 SHG groups linked with SJSY schemes of Government to promote livelihood options

More than 5500 poor families were supported for alternative livelihood after applying for work under MNREGA scheme from the intervention area of the organization.

Successfully advocated for effective implementation on prevention of child marriage in Patepur and Mahuwa block of vaishali district by filing a PIL in Patna High Court for making district administration accountable for administrative lapse. The high court taking action on the PIL passed orders making Sub Divisional Officer accountable for such lapses in prevention of child marriage.
