Job Title : Project Manager – Fundraising, Communication & Project Development
About: Dalit Vikas Abhiyan Samiti (DVAS) has been working with communities across Bihar for more than three decades, promoting dignity, equality, safety, social protection, and inclusive development.
We are looking for a committed, experienced, and socially driven Project Manager – Fundraising, Communication & Project Development to join our team in Patna, Bihar.
This role goes beyond project management. The selected professional will play a key role in developing and implementing projects, building donor relationships, mobilizing resources, developing proposals, strengthening partnerships, and communicating the organization’s impact.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Project Planning, Development, Implementation, Monitoring, and Reporting.
• Develop and implement effective Fundraising Strategies and identify opportunities with CSR, institutional donors, foundations, and other funding partners.
• Prepare high-quality Project Proposals, Concept Notes, Budgets, EoIs, RFPs, and Donor Reports.
• Build and maintain strong Donor Communication and Relationships with existing and prospective partners.
• Coordinate effectively with Government Departments and relevant stakeholders.
• Lead and support project teams to ensure quality implementation, timely deliverables, and effective field coordination.
• Manage and regularly update DVAS Social Media Platforms and Website, highlighting programmes, achievements, community stories, and organisational initiatives.
• Plan and support Crowdfunding Campaigns, digital communication, and fundraising mobilisation.
• Document and communicate project achievements, outcomes, and community impact effectively.
• Contribute to Project Development, Fundraising, Institutional Growth, and Strategic Partnerships.
Qualification: MSW / MBA / Rural Development / Agriculture or a relevant Master’s degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management, Team Leadership, Fundraising, Proposal Writing, Donor Communication, and Government Coordination.
